Define Embroidery

Embroidery is the art or handicraft of decorating fabric or other materials with designs stitched in strands of thread or yarn using a needle. Embroidery may also use other materials such as metal strips, pearls, beads, quills, and sequins. Sewing machines can be used to create machine embroidery.

As the art of embroidery digitizing interests you, and new technology possibly excites you, you may be interested in following the advent of I-Cliqq Professional Embroidery Software.

www.i-cliqq.com

I-Cliqq launches across USA in 2009. If you just enjoy embroidery designs, you can download 180 free from the site.

Feel free to distribute any site information. I-Cliqq will prove to be quite the interesting software of 2009 and beyond.

I am an embroiderer and agree that Digitizing is an art and it programs the machine how to decorate the garment. I have found that there are few digitizers that understand that. I have recently found this website called www.mambodigitizing.com where it actually sends you a photo of the sewn garment to make sure you satisfied that it has been digitized correctly. Totally worth it
